CMSP Motorcyclist Training Course (CMSP MTC)

The California Motorcyclist Safety Program Motorcyclist Training Course (CMSP MTC) is designed for the novice rider with no (or limited) street-riding experience.

Total Control Intermediate Riding Clinic (IRC)

You will learn intermediate-level skills including a proper mental state, understanding two-wheeled dynamics, cornering strategies, emergency braking, and evasive maneuvers.

CMSP 1 DAY PREMIER COURSE (CMSP 1DPC)

The California Motorcyclist Safety Program 1-Day Premier Course allows riders who already know how to ride but are not licensed the opportunity to achieve intermediate-level skills along with their motorcycle license.

    What will I need to register?


    You'll need a valid automobile driver's license or learner's permit, and have the ability to ride a bicycle.Do I need any special gear?
    • A heavy, long-sleeve shirt or jacket • Jeans, chaps, or leather pants • Over-the-ankle, sturdy footwear • Full-fingered gloves • A helmet that meets DOT requirements • Eyewear • We will provide you with a Motorcycle, and if you need them, a Helmet, Gloves and glasses.

    What to Expect:


    When you take a CMSP Motorcycle Training Course you’ll receive: Get in-class and on-range instruction from CMSP Certified Instructors. Learn to safely accelerate, shift, brake, and turn, along with maneuvers like controlling skids and surmounting obstacles. Earn a CMSP motorcycle training course completion card, which may waive the DMV riding skill test (varies by state) and score you a discount on motorcycle insurance.
